Perfect hotel
The rooms look like they're in a castle. Very spacious. There is a bathtub and a shower.
An afternoon tea is served, which is included in the room rate.
There is a huge breakfast buffet with local and international delicacies.
Conclusion: A perfect hotel in the middle of Dalat.

it's a joke to call this a 5-star hotel.
First, the room was outdated and lacked the amenities I would expect from a hotel of this caliber. The bed made loud creaking noises whenever I turned or twisted, making sleeping difficult. Additionally, the storm doors wouldn’t stay open, which was frustrating when enjoying fresh air. The main door also showed signs of wear, with paint peeling and the overall appearance looking run-down. The room was also very dark—don’t expect to read anything comfortably inside, even with all the lights on.
Breakfast was mediocre at best. I expected more variety and better quality food for a hotel with such a reputation. The options felt limited compared to other luxury hotels in Vietnam.
Overall, while the hotel’s history and architecture are impressive, the lack of upkeep, noisy bed, and dated facilities left a lot to be desired. I will never go back to this hotel.

Nice hotel
With top location, and close vicinity to streets with shoops and all entertainment. Excellent internet and delicious breakfast.
Special appreciation for historical spirit in the hotel. So many pictures on the walls. Rooms are sufficient just some feeling of something old inside.

Does Not Live Up to its Storied Past!
The service and amenities, however, are not five stars.
First, the water pressure in the bathroom is very low. The hot water is intermittent and is not enough to fill the bathtub.
The attendants who came to check do not even seem to grasp the concept of filling up a bathtub for a soaking bath.
There is no central air or heater, so I asked for an extra blanket or portable heater, which never came.
Room door worn out, does not self lock nor close very well.
The staff tries hard but are not trained according to International standards. It is very obvious the hotel is run by a local company, unlike the Metropole in Hanoi. So, is it worth the price they charge? No!
