New York marathon week
Back to the westin for the New York marathon week and yet again a flawless stay with absolutely incredible staff - Ernie - doomy - Neville - irina - Erica - Deidre - Thomas - running out of superlatives to describe these guys can’t wait to be back for the half marathon in march 2025

Good family stay
Our main requirements were space and location, and this met them both. This was a great base for our family to explore. Took our daughters 14 and 12 for 4 nights all in the same room. We were worried about the room size, given the usual size of NY hotel rooms, but this was big enough. 2 double beds, a decent size wardrobe space and dresser, had to leave a couple suitcases on the floor to live out of, but there was enough floor space to do so whilst keeping things organised!
Really efficient check in process, keys handed over and off you go… Location is great, close to central station for the subway, well equipped gym, busy bar area made for a nice atmosphere. Friendly helpful staff. Food wise…We had wanted room service after one long day, but for some reason they don’t offer this at weekends, so we ordered out, but we did that have a complimentary breakfast that was reasonable.
Would recommend to other families

Great room in NYC.
We spent three nights at the Westin Grand Central this past weekend. We arrived just before 4 pm and got right up to our room. It was a corner room on the 26th floor and relatively large by NYC standards.
We requested some more hangers and towels and they were delivered very quickly. We also had a few cocktails at the bar and they were tasty.
Unfortunately there were doing construction across the street (not the hotels fault) which went on most of the first night. We made the best of it.
Breakfast the next morning was good and we went about our day. When we returned later that evening we did not see any construction vehicles so we chalked it up to bad timing.
However, at 2 am, construction started again (again, not the hotels fault). This time it was dump trucks every 10-15 minutes. My wife got earplugs from housekeeping but it was a relatively sleepless night.
The next morning, I went downstairs and found an angel. Lilly was at the front desk. I explained the situation, she did some checking and got us moved immediately to another room on the opposite side (away from construction). The room was great and we slept like babies.
We will definitely stay at the Westin Grand Central on our next trip to NYC.

Proximity was great, Close to Grand Centra but not far enough away to not deal with the crowds. Room was comfortable and clean! Mirthro from house keeping was amazing, ans made sure I was well taken care of
