I enjoyed my stay. Most of the issues I had were due to my lack of reading notices (you have to ask for Room cleanup, etc). Staff was courteous and breakfast was decent. Personally, I liked the location.

We did not stay in the hotel because we read the reviews and a lot of people said that there was cockroaches and bed bug. I have a young child with me and I did not want to take the chance there. I had to go to another place instead. It was more expensive but I felt safer there

Consider this hotel

Used points for Best Western - reviews sounded good. Very satisfied. Typical "smaller room" as you experience in NYC - very clean and comfortable. Very nice area - Chinatown. Streets were very busy - friendly people. Receptionist at the hotel was extremely friendly friendly and helpful - greeted you whenever you walked though the lobby. Comfortable bed and good TV. View was a brick wall!! Good breakfast. Hyatt and Sheraton were across the street. One block from the subway (end of the line #7 train. It tool @ 30 minutes to get to downtown by subway - but getting on at the end the line - you got a seat!! On;y "problem" - the tub drained slowly.

Do not recommend

While this is a convenient location for the metro, until they can fix their plumbing NEVER AGAIN. Our toilet would not flush on our first morning. I called the front desk and was told that once housekeeping showed up at 9:30 am this would be taken care of.
Before we left for the day we stopped by the front desk- the woman at the desk got upset with us because we put toilet paper down the toilet. Telling us that is why there is a trash can in the bathroom. She did not know we had called about this. She would get the toilet taken care of.
We were only staying one more night and we made do , but we will not be back and will not recommend this establishment.

Parking is not on-site as was displayed in details, but we found parking nearby. Breakfast was free but saw several people (including employees) using bare hands when touching breads and any pastries, so we walked to Mcdonalds daily instead (very short walk). Overall, would recommend and stay again if in Flushing.
