Kam Mans last best days. This momma can not give a high enough review for Hilton Hollywood Beach Resort. Kure4Kam
The 3 weeks we spent at this facility, are the last good memories I have of my son. The staff treated us like family, they addressed us by name, they anticipated our needs. There are not enough good things I can say, truly.
When I originally scheduled our trip I was unable to get a single Hilton to accommodate us for 3 weeks straight so I had to split our stay between multiple facilities. Ines, one of the facility's upper management members, helped make it possible to stay the entire time at Hollywood beach. She saved me so much heartache trying to move all of my son's equipment to another facility.
Almost every morning before leaving for my son's therapy for the day, the baristas already had my order going and the valet started pulling my wheelchair vehicle to the front for us. Therapies were tough and grueling every day but these individuals helped us get our day started on the right foot. Thanks to Wilson, Carlos, and Casey.
When my son's wheelchair headrest became unsafe and I was unable to fix it, the facility engineer came down immediately and assisted. He was so kind and understanding. Talk about going above and beyond for the guests.
The dining experience was always fantastic as well. All the staff addressed Kam, even though he was unable to respond. The staff made us feel included, wanted, and special. My drink was almost in my hand as soon as we sat at our table. Like I said, the staff was fantastic at anticipating our wants and needs.
Extra shout out to Andria, Marybell, Isra and Kristin for making our stay so great.
Although my son passed away just a couple weeks after eturning back home to Indiana, I just want to state once again that your facility and staff made us feel at home.
Now, I am planning my son's last trip. On September 26th, my, family and friends will be celebrating what would have been my son's 8th birthday. We will be staying at Hilton Garden Inn Cocoa Beach Oceanfront.
Cocoa Beach is where I spread my momma's ashes nearly a decade ago and now I will be spreading my son's ashes along side her. Although they never met in this lifetime, they will now spend eternity together.
So, if you have made it through my long-winded review, just know that Hilton will be my forever choice to stay when I am away from home. Thank you for giving me such wonderful memories that I will forever cherish.
If you would like to see my son's beautiful smile and his journey through this life, please check our Kure4Kam. Although I was unable to save my son, I am starting a nonprofit in his name in the future. Kam man's legacy will live on for years and years to come.
