Pleasant Stay

This hotel is well placed for a visit to Blenheim Palace.
My husband and I were well looked after by the staff and the lovely Kim. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was delicious as was the evening meal in the lovely restaurant.
The room we stayed in had the bathroom downstairs with the bedroom upstairs. The bathroom was in need of a refurbishment.
We enjoyed our stay here.

Its the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel. We like because it is close to family and there are also others attractions close by. Deddington is a nice little village. We have always found the property clean and staff are great. We noticed this time the room needs updating and freshening up. They serve a very good breakfast and for dinner there is a good choice. Restuarant is very comfortable.

Friendly staff. Rooms are older, but the Inn was built in the 1500's, so what do you expect? Rooms were a great size and the water pressure was outstanding. Breakfast was great and included with our stay. Good restaurant too for dinner.

Breakfast at Deddington Arms hotel

Called in here for breakfast one Sunday. All looked lovely staff were not over friendly it was 11 am and although they were serving breakfast we were made to wait while they checked it was ok to still serve. We ordered and waited 25 mins for breakfasts to be served. Disappointed when it came is an understatement very small and not worth the £12 per breakfast we paid. Even had the nerve to charge a £3 service charge for it. Will not be eating there again. Beautiful inside in a beautiful village but that’s all basic breakfast and not using quality ingredients either.

Thank you for taking time to write. Breakfast would have been freshly prepared and would need cooking time but the resulting food should have been exceptional. I'm sorry we did not meet your expectations - the service charge is discretionary.
