Hamlet - the heart in Geneva

Clean , well equipped perfect location and safety. Amazing space. Tastefully and thoughtfully designed with a feel of home. Friendly and welcoming. We stayed for 14 days with not an issue. Loved it so much that decided to leave our son for 3 years there. Anaëlle and Joeffry very very helpful. Rightfully said a hidden gem.

Lacking basic services

Not worth the money. Very nice staff and great location, but lots of issues.
Starting with the rooms have no privacy as they are in the basement or ground floor, with the only window facing the other rooms.
The heating didn't work so we had to wear hats and layers indoors and still my fingers felt frozen. They gave us a space heater on the third day but it wasn't nearly enough.
Maid service only twice a week and no hand vacuum available.
It's not as large as anticipated.
Almost no natural light. No privacy.
No full length mirror.
The shower was terrible as there's no showerhead or hook, so you have to hold the hose which is very annoying and cold as you shower.
No breakfast or room service.
Self parking.
The bedroom and bathroom were uncomfortably tiny.
No window in the bedroom.
On a good note, they did offer a free pilates/yoga class.
For the price, a hotel is a much better option, or an Airbnb.

Hamlet is a cozy home away from home

The taxi took us right to the Hamlet’s door on a quiet street in Geneve’s historic district where we were warmly greeted by the entire staff. Our stay started with a brief tour of the Square, their common space & kitchen and adjacent rooms (we didn’t use them during our stay, but looked nice). We stayed in a 1 bedroom apt (#22) which doesn’t have AC but the evening breeze through opposing windows easily cooled down the room at night. Upon entering the apt, there is a small sitting area, full bathroom, kitchenette w 4 seats and a living room; the bedroom is up a narrow but sturdy set of stairs, sort of a loft situation. Very cozy. Throughout our stay staff was responsive via WhatsApp, everything from fixing minor issues to recommending off-the-beaten-path restaurants in Genève. We would stay at the Hamlet again!

GIMUN

Good quality. The security is highly checked and the facilities in the apartment are stylish. If you are a UK traveller, bring along a multisocket which converts from Swiss to UK.
The food is awesome too. If you want a cheap place to buy snacks I'd say go to MIGROS
