Good starting point for tours to the High Tatras and Slovak Paradise.

Nicely renovated hotel in the center of the city. Well furnished rooms, very good mattresses and duvets. Spacious bathroom with shower/WC. Very good breakfast buffet and pleasant breakfast room. Half board is offered in the building next door. Shopping nearby, Billa next door. Car and bus parking is available on site. Friendly and helpful staff.

Good, but not worthy a price

I spent there 1 night. Hotel is not bad, staff is friendly in general, rooms are clean, my attic room was large (twin room for one person). Parking at the hotel included in a price. Very good location on the main square of the town. Breakfast large and good.
However I don't like the a wear of the hotel. It needs some refurnishing. Carpets are worn, style like in early '90, apparent gypsumboard walls, shower is visible worn by use too. Simply it doesn't look like a hotel but a cheapo student dormitory. The gypsumboard walls of attic room are tiny so I was not able to sleep in night as far youngsters in next room kept not very loud party till 3AM ...
I recommend the hotel but don't expect anything fancy for your 40 € (incl. breakfast and parking), what is one of the most expensive hotels in the town.

Nice place to stay in Slovakia....

It is a traditional hotel at Spisska Nova Ves in Slovakia, but there is no air conditioning in the rooms. During the summer is difficult to stay at the rooms because is hot and no devices are available. However, it is located close to nice restaurant area with traditional local cuisine.

Bom atendimento

O quarto é bem grande, o banheiro também, tirando o chuveiro. Pena que não tem janta, com a cidade fria as vezes dá uma preguiça enorme de sair pra jantar, mas está muito bem localizado tem um monte de restaurantes perto.

Poderia ser melhor

Fiquei hospedada por cinco dias no parkhotel durante uma viagem de trabalho. Ainda que o atendimento da equipe seja cordial, o hotel é antigo, não conta com elevadores, o quarto em que fiquei não tinha nem frigobar e ainda que limpo, as instalações eram bastante simples. O sinal de internet era bom e o café da manhã era ok. Não há restaurante interno, então a noite é necessário sair para comer. Não foi uma experiência ruim, mas esperava mais conforto e comodidade.
