Nice stay

Well I have to say that this was basic, but a nice room to stay in. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff that were helpful. Don't expect five star for what you pay. Price matches the tote of room. Good shower pressure.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU LIKE YOUR HEALTH

Worst place my dad has ever stayed , ran a bath but no hot water , was only luke warm , there was no spray nozzle in the shower head so it was a straight stream .
Mould around bottom of the shower tray , as well as around the bath and also around the plug hole .
Have made a formal complaint and sent phots to the appropriate authorities.

No gluten free options

This restaurant has no gluten free options, and as table of seven this was only mention when it came to ordering, it wea the waitresses Frist night bit she has no training she asked what we would like to drink? We asked what are the options she pointed to the food menu and when we pointed out that it was food menu she went away and came back with another food menu. I felt sorry for her because it wasn't her fault she wasn't trained and couldn't ask management because they were absent. Can highly recommend Shiraz next door where we could eat

Little historical!

I stayed in this hotel during my Northland trip. It has a bit of history still existing, but needs maintenance. My my was comfortable and room was clean. The restaurant was nice and well maintained. The specifically liked the furnitures. The Staff also was polite, gentle and had some great customer service skills. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend. Cheers
