Great central location. Recommended.

Great central location with clean, comfortable, quiet, well appointed rooms and walking distance to local restaurants, bars, the waterfront and downtown.
Jim always goes out of his way to look after his guests. That's why I keep returning!

Comfortable, clean, and central motel in New Plymouth

Bella Vista is a very accommodating motel and we will definitely look to visit again.
The hosts are friendly and approachable. They let us know that it was the last night of the light festival, which we hadn't realised, and we had a lovely night at the park.
Our room was very clean and not cramped. We enjoyed the option of fresh milk rather than UHT for tea/coffee/hot chocolate. To top it off the TV had full Sky coverage, which was great while laying in the very comfortable bed.
Overall it was the best motel experience that we've had in NZ.

Very nice

Absolutely fabulous accommodation. Very handy to the central city area, with its abundance of fine dining restaurants and eateries.
Quick and easy checkin with the very helpful, courteous manager. He was very helpful and eagerly regaled me with what was happening in New Plymouth during my stay.
The room was well appointed, a comfy bed made for a decent sleep
Multitude of satellite tv channels available.

Business trip to New Plymouth

Suggest not to book via booking .com but deal directly with motel as when I queried the price of $230 a night (being a Wednesday) I was told no movement on cost due to booking via internet... felt room was small / average as well... for $230 a night. no microwave ether, left early...

Unsure if you meant to leave this review for New Plymouth or another Bella Visita as all our rooms have Microwaves in them and they have for years? Also, you are correct in saying once you book via booking.com that is the set price you will pay. Booking Direct will always give you the cheapest price.

Family-friendly and accommodating - a close walk to town (museum, Center City, cafes, and restaurants). Nice clean and spacious room (we booked a one-bedroom family unit). We would be happy to stay again next time - thank you for being such great hosts.
