I was kindly received.
Room smelled very of old-fashioned green soap. But nothing else to complain about. Bed was lovely, nice view from the room and rich breakfast.

Cozy welcoming family hotel
Nice clean room with nice bed and lovely shower and nice balcony overlooking the water.
Delicious food and drinks while we were playing a game.
Overall we enjoyed the 3 days we were there and will definitely be back again.

It should have been a nice night away....
After 1 hour I was called that due to a miscommunication between the hotel and social deal, there were rooms bookable but the rooms could not be booked with social deal. I indicated that I had been in touch by email but she thought I already had a voucher. Rather special because I asked if I could book directly. Direct was not possible, booking had to be done via social deal. Small note; with social deal you can only book this deal by date. The problem was put to me because the hotel could not do anything about it. I could book for another date but that is not possible for us. You will understand that our fun night away was already quite ruined but especially because no solution was offered except another date. We would have liked to have made use of an upgrade but that was also not possible! After I myself suggested that we could not stay overnight with an extra cost, this was suggested. We would have liked to pay the extra cost provided the upgrade was possible. The upgrade was also not possible. Also special because when I look at booking.com I see that the superior room is bookable. Because another date was not possible for us, I would rather have my money back, the hotel could not mean anything. I had to contact social deal myself. Disappointing because there are so many glowing comments about the hotel on Tripadvisor.
Like I said at the beginning; we wanted to go away for the night. Why pay more when it's cheap? If they had indicated that we got our money back via social deal or the hotel and we could have booked a superior room directly everything would have been solved. Unfortunately, it turned into a nasty phone conversation in which I felt very fobbed off. After telephone contact with social deal I get my money back. I was also informed that a booking with payment is leading even though the hotel has no rooms for the deal. Then the deal should have been done. Even at the time of writing, the deal is bookable for December 24, 25 and 26.

Great hotel!
The owner told me that the hotel had reopened a month ago.
The story behind it makes it even more beautiful.
They work hard and that is reflected in everything.
My daughter and I were together and enjoyed a delicious dinner and the other morning a delicious, rich breakfast.
A nice place for one or more nights.
