Very beautiful place with friendly staff and good food. Perfect location.

Very beautiful place with friendly staff and good food.
We spent a night here, and they also organized a game drive for us in the park the following day.
Everything was 10/10. Very comfy and clean rooms, friendly staff and good food.
Really nice and safe place, in the middle of the nature and they also made a bonfire just for us to enjoy.

Two nights stay

We stayed two nights at Lillypond. On arrival we even got an upgrade to a Banda with private ablutions. The camp was very peaceful and relaxing. We were the only guests at that time.
Unfortunately on both nights dinner was more than 30 minutes late although pre-ordered for a certain time. Moreover, on both nights we did not exactly get what we ordered ( e.g. meat dish instead of veggies and wrong side dishes). Food was still delicious but no one really explained or apologized. Furthermore, although there is a sign inside the bar that no cash but only card is accepted, they only accepted cash.. at times we felt like bothering the staff as e.g. inside the bar all staff members were watching television and we had to interrupt them to have drinks.

Amazing experience, absolutely recommend to anyone for their stay in Nakuru and for organizing safari and other activities.

Amazing experience, absolutely recommend to anyone for their stay in Nakuru and for organizing safari and other activities.
I was in touch with the owner Peter via WhatsApp the whole time. He spoke perfect English and was very honest and fair the whole time. Everything we agreed was exactly as it should be and it exceeded our expectations a lot.
The place is beautiful - locsted in a peaceful are just next to southern entrance to the national park. It's a very lush and green camping with also built small cottages which are hotel - standard - very clean, very well-lit, the most comfortable bed in the whole country for my opinion, and nicely waiting a bottle of water with a glass for everyone.
Well, we came in the evening and were greated with a bonfire next to our cottage and a set table for dinner on the grass - most amazing experience. Same way for breakfast.
Rhe place is really chill, many birds and chicken walking around. Common spaces are also really nice and clean.
Peter organized a safari for us - a full day game drive in Lake Nakuru National park in his own vehicle - it was a small 4x4 (not a pop-up roof but had open sides) with a local guide named John. John was very kind and professional and had good knowledge of the park and animals. We saw lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, warthogs, hyenas and many different antelopes, and many birds. So the alternative option was also a pop-up van, I'm sure he'll meet your needs, whatever they might be.
Food was very tasty and plentiful.
Staff was extremely friendly and made sure we were comfortable.
They also had spa services for very nice prices.
Area is very safe and secure with 24/7 guard.
All in all I really hope to return one day and I'll be sure to recommend it to anyone that'll be interested in the area

A hidden gem, the management are superb and the staff are welcoming, although, great view for viewing Game.

The property is very new, we were among the very first campers to experience the hospitality there. The camp shares a common fence with Lake Nakuru National Park, great for viewing wild animals. The outdoor camping is a breath taker and the camp fire at night is just great. I hope more people can visit.
