Quiet and charming Lido.

A nice place. 5 minutes walk from the Lido pier. The welcome is very pleasant and in French. The rooms have a slightly dated decor but it is very clean and quiet. Place that I recommend for one or two nights on the Venice lagoon.

Indecent

Truly indecent bathroom, never renovated with a bidet included in a toilet seat (never seen such a thing), presence of hair from previous tourists in the shower, ants present throughout the room including the table where we had breakfast. In the bed, on presumably clean sheets, presence of hair and dander. Shocking that for two nights in an isolated area of the lido, therefore outside of Venice, such a structure is charged 300 euros. An experience absolutely not to be repeated.

Recommended by friends, I confirm that I found the context of a few units pleasant. Friendly and helpful staff. All very relaxing. Strategic position.
Cozy rooms. Well-kept garden.

We have stayed here before and were looking forward to staying this time, but unfortunately we got an email the morning we were to stay that due to plumbing problems we were moved to another location. We picked Villa Angelica because it was walking distance from the vaporetto. The hotel they moved us to (Villa Albertini) was nice but completely out of the way and NOT walking distance from the boat. We are lucky we had family who were able to drive us. Based on other reviews, Villa Angelica has done this before. This is just a "Buyer beware."
