A pleasant stay in the Florentine countryside

At the top of a hill in the beautiful Florentine countryside stands this castle-like establishment
Haven of peace with modern and spacious rooms where calm is the watchword

... it was lucky to meet you!

We met at this resort on Sunday, December 29, in the evening: we were traveling from Caserta, to Milan, but our car stopped on the highway in Barberino. We were in the car with an old dog, we were very worried, cold and we did not know where to spend the night. We were out of control! The resort as expected was full, there were no rooms available yet they were sensitive to our difficulties and found us a place. They literally welcomed us! The resort is gorgeous! Rooms clean and complete with everything, with a modern and shabby style, care! The restaurant is of really excellent quality and the competent and very kind staff! You are immersed in unspoilt but well-kept nature. The spa course is beautiful and organized. The reception welcomes you with professionalism and warmth. We felt less alone in that difficult time. We will return for a leisure stay!

Really wanted to love this place. Room was not as pictured and smelled strongly of deodorizers/cleaners. There was a dirty half empty pool near our room, and the main pool was cold. Food was not great, with the exception of the tiramisu.

A little paradise

A place away from the eyes, a very good table. The room is very nice, with good bedding.
All the staff are very friendly and try to speak a little French.
Nothing wrong with the cleanliness, comfort and hospitality.
