Great weekend brilliant staff

From the moment we arrived the staff and whole experience was fantastic. The reception staff whose names I didn’t get were so welcoming and friendly couldn’t have been nicer. The two women working the breakfast table were so nice and friendly.. the bar staff a Cornelius and especially Darragh were brilliant couldn’t do enough for us, live music on the Saturday night was great too and a nice vibe for couple drinks not too loud.

Leisure Club lets it down

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was really good plenty of choice from a full Irish to eggs benedict. Things that let it down is the Leisure Club. The ladies changing room was freezing and the floor filthy. No where to lock your clothes away although there are lockers but none all locked I presume they are for members!! the surrounding of the pool was very wet and slippery and quite dangerous. Only one part of the jacuzzi was working and it is not hot as it is in the pool so it is the pool temperature. The two jets over the pool were both broken. It needs a complete overhaul. It was a shame as it could of received 5 stars.

Nice Stay

I stayed here for one night with my partner in mid December. We stay on the first floor. I have to say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we opened the door the room was immaculate and also had an extra bed for a double room. We had a front facing room overlooking the harbour which was nice.
We also used the leisure facilities, pool was nice however the steam room I found was too hot for me so did'nt very long in it. The sauna was out of order when we were there,
We did'nt eat in the hotel as we had other arrangements so can't comment on the food. Found the staff very nice and helpful even when I asked for ice in the bar for my room was no problem.
Really enjoyed my stay. Can't wait to return!

Excellent 5 star plus

On arrival at hotel on the 21st of November.The greeting from Jacinta was so professional and helpful. The room was amazing, extremely clean and comfortable Breakfast was wonderful. Staff are very friendly and professional as well. I would recommend this beautiful hotel and I give it 5 stars +.Thank you for a wonderful stay,I will recommend/ and also stay here again. Well done for your professionalism and a wonderful stay. Anne o sullivan Ballydehob
