A gem in Thanjavur !
The location is less crowded, probably because it is about 2kms away from the happening places (Brihadeeshwara Temple and Maratha Palace)
The rooms look exactly as the photos posted here, modern but small and resemble the Ibis style of hotels. A glass separated shower area keeps the bathroom dry and clean. An attached balcony gives a good view of the empty road and nearby buildings and serves as a good chat area in the evening. A comfy bed, AC, a litre bottle of water, 24/7 hot water, TV with mostly all channels subscribed, car parking for about 10 cars, lobby in every floor is what you get.
In addition to it, the service is something that needs to be highlighted; Tamizharasan at the Reception was polite and humble and catered to all our requests but the man who stoodout was the one who was speech-impaired (didn't get his name though). He attended us for every request of ours and carried an infectious smile all through.
There is a non-veg hotel at the ground floor attached to the building, Kamatchi restaurant where we ordered our dinner. The food was good but the standout was the Coin Parotas. In addition, A2B is barely a km away from this restaurant.
Hotels like these should be reviewed by the Travellers that help other travellers have a comfortable stay.
A gem in Thanjavur, have dropped a pin to this hotel for all my future Thanjavur visits !
