Plush and comfort

Wonderfully plush old-fashioned hotel, but with all modern comforts, at the end of the main street, therefore quiet, great view of the harbour and castle, roof terrace with all-round views, very suitable for a drink (even non-hotel guests are welcome), the food was rather disappointing, very good, rich breakfast buffet.

Good hotel but needs some improvements

Very close to shops, restaurants, tourist attractions and everything else in the old town.
Lots of character and more of a traditional hotel which is great.
We had the superior room #52 on the 5th floor with sea views. Tiny bathroom which is in need of modernising.
The roof terrace on the 6th floor is fantastic and we had some great cocktails. The only down side is that if your room is below it, you will hear lots of scraping of chairs and tables above you up until midnight..so if you are a light sleeper then don't have a room on the 5th floor.
The breakfast wasn't the best.
The friendliness and levels of service from all staff across all departments was fantastic.

The hotel is charming, perfect location, our room was huge! With view and a balcony. All the stuff incredibly nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious! We loved it! Planning to come back every time we can.

Very bad

What a surprise when I went back to the room, a superb view, but big inconvenience, a big bed ordered only they can not fit them in the rooms So two little beds there next to each other, insufficient length, so forced to sleep with feet out, very very unpleasant and in addition the mattress was soft
This is hotel is good for a stage set to flee for a holiday

Convenient and well run. Good breakfast. Nice pool but dreadful music around. Didn’t match the demographic of the clients at all and was intrusive. Please stop doing this; I want peace on my holiday not someone else’s choice of music
