A luxurious hotel, amazing hospitality and service from the reception staff who received and listened to requests for a room change, professional and friendly service at the wonderful and high-quality breakfast, the lobby restaurant staff is professional and helpful. An outstanding experience from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The service, the friendliness, the people are outstanding . The hotel is beautiful and luxurious but the level of service and hospitality is really what makes it extra special.

The hotel is stunning, the private butler service is fantastic, The rooms Are starting to a look at little bit tired and need some modernisation. There are often wine glasses and things being left on the small table outside of the rooms which clearly did not belong to the rooms. Not quite worth €1500 a night!

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. The hotel would kindly request that all children are supervised by an adult at all times. Children 16 years and younger are only permitted to use the indoor pool from 9am to 2pm. Please note that the outdoor pool is open from May to October, depending on weather conditions. The Hotel Grande Bretagne is a non smoking Hotel therefore smoking is not allowed in the rooms, bars, restaurants or any public areas of the property. Guests are welcome to check-in at 3pm. Check-out is at 11am, though the hotel is pleased to accommodate late check-outs upon request. In the case of a late check-out before 6pm, an additional half day rate will apply.
