Super friendly in a really nice central area

Went with my son during an unseasonably cold spell. The hotel is faultless, from the warm welcome to the terrific breakfasts. It's right by Acropolis museum and in the evening sitting in the jacuzzi opposite one of the wonders of the world is a magical experience. We had an unforeseen (no fault of the hotel) issue with our room which they couldn't have done more to rectify, was so impressed. The bar area is really inviting, superb drinks menu and the restaurant(s) are very impressive. This is a cut above for a price that remains reasonable. I'll be headed back.

Herodion A must go Hotel

Excellent Service and great hotel near the Acropolis Historical Sites and easy access to metro, eateries.
Check in and check out very smooth.
Reception was very helpful during our stay, they even when the extra mile to book the Cape Sunion and Temple of Poseidon for us. Appreciate the kind gesture of the front line staff.

Beautiful hotel close to all the sights

We spent three nights at the Herodian and were really impressed with the hotel and the staff who couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely and our room was very comfortable. I particularly liked the bar area which has a very homely feel and while we were in Athens it was really cold outside so it was very nice to have an evening drink by the log fire.

A real gem

We had a fantastic stay, the location of the hotel 10 minutes walk from the Acropolis and the museum 5 minutes is perfect.
Athens is walkable although we did use the hop on hop off bus for a couple of days to get a feel for the lay out.
The Hotel has great views of the acropolis from the roof top terrace. The room was well appointed with comfy beds.
The staff at the hotel were brilliant and friendly- as always this makes the difference from a good hotel to great.
We’ll definitely return
