Everything top - location and value for money
We were lucky enough to have a very nice room with a view of the Chancellery, etc. for a floppy 104 €/night for the double room. Great place, very clean and well maintained, staff friendly. Wellness area and breakfast we did not use. Room spacious with free Nespresso machine and tea with kettle. Well soundproofed inside and out (train station) and therefore absolutely quiet. Conclusion: highly recommended! Early booking (we one month before) is clearly worth the price; good cancellation conditions

A Flawless Stay
I stayed 1 night here a suite in early March.
When I travel, I always look for hotels to review that have something special, most importantly the views, as I shoot timelapses and this hotel had a great view of the front of the station.
On checking in the staff were flawless, the suite 377 was near the elevator so fantastic, the suite itself was amazing, with sliding doors to totally separate the bedroom from the living room, in case you have guests using the sofa bed in the living room they can use the 2nd toilet without disturbing you.
Gym was a decent size with fantastic views, sadly I didn’t get to try the sauna and steam room as I had to commit to other content creation outside the hotel but hope to return later this year.
I looked at a Deluxe twin room to compare and was impressed, a luxurious, modern, decent sized, comfortable room with a Nespresso machine, and at a very reasonable rate, you don’t get that anywhere else!
I was blown away by breakfast, the choice was massive! One of the largest buffets I’ve seen outside Vegas, and it was quality food too! The salami was super lean, sausages, roast potatoes, fried tomatoes excellent, and that crispy bacon, just the best, I really do love crispy bacon and very few hotels serve that
Since I started doing hotel reviews seriously I’ve become rather critical, noticing things that I would previously ignore and I have to say from arrival to leaving, everything was perfect, so much so that I looked companies other establishments as I’d love to try more Steigenberger Hotels and have Köln on my list for next time

Perfect location for visiting Berlin. Just couple minutes away from Berlin Station, within an hour from Berlin Airport.
The food from Food Factory across the street from the hotel and restaurants at Berlin Station must take care of your needs.
Famous location are also within walking distance or within 15 minutes by public transport.

This is a nice hotel next to the main Berlin train station.
This is a nice hotel next to the main Berlin train station.
We had a deluxe double room with a huge bed and a good sized bathroom. Robes and slippers were provided too. However the hairdryer was fixed in the bathroom which is not ideal when you have a lot of hair to dry as it can get very warm. There was a nice magnifying mirror which was useful.
We rang for some additional tissues and they sent a robot up with them which was fun until the only drawer we could open was the middle one and the tissues were in the top one. In the end they had to send a person up with the tissues after all!
The breakfast room was lovely and light and airy and the buffet very comprehensive although there weren’t any kind of cooked potatoes in the hot buffet which I felt was an oversight.
Overall though I felt this hotel was expensive compared to others we stayed in however this could have been due to the Berlin half marathon having been on when we were there.

Great place to stay and was extremely convenient to walk to and from the train station. I definitely plan to stay here again in the future during my next trip to Berlin.
