This hotel is directly across the Gare/train station, and within easy walking distance from the old town squares, the Cathedral, and Petite France. Very convenient, location wise. Room was a little crowded/small for a double, but clean and comfortable. Immediately outside the hotel are lots of eateries/dining places. Would definitely stay here again.

To flee cockroaches

First impression: the smell of cold tobacco from an 80s bar.
Second impression: big worries about limestone in the sink and shower, no crowding in the sink.
Third impression: 2 cockroaches in 2 nights
1 star for the 2 young men of the night.
270€ for 2 nights, to escape!!!

Great location

Great if you are travelling in by train as it’s very near the station.
Awful lift, took forever to come but better than stairs I suppose.
Great location, lots of shops and eateries close by and not far to walk for the main town.
We never had breakfast at the hotel but there’s a Macdonald’s close by which was handy for a bit of cheap breakfast

Goes for a night

Pros: Very close to train station and old town! Very friendly and helpful staff! Ample breakfast. Cons: Superficially clean, but a basic cleaning would be necessary again (lime in the bathroom, dirty windows, etc.) Price - performance but fine.

I asked for quiet room and it was provided. Plenty of hot water, but the shower is over a high-sided bath (I am 88).
There was no plug in the washbasin. Hotel fine for a very short stay. Breakfast extra but very good.
