We're so disappointed not to have your name, to be able to check on our side what went wrong during your stay.
First of all, we're located in city center, in a XVIth century building, that can't be modified. We're lucky to have a parking in a city, but are sorry that we're unable to modify its entry. However, it doesn't prevent large vehicles from entering (such as Audi Q7, Land Rover Defender) making some arrangements.
Furthermore, several places are available in the street for free during the night, and a public parking is located 200m from our hotel.
Finally, we're known to have friendly staff and welcoming people in our team, I'm a little bit surprised to read that we had "no empathy".
We're keen on doing our maximum to satisfy our customer, we're so sorry to read that it was not the case during your stay.
We'd be pleased to dicuss about it to know what happened to be qualified as "poor service".

Stay ruined by a disastrous check-in.
We had previously received an email from the hotel asking us our approximate time of arrival and had indicated arrive around 3pm.
When we arrived at the hotel at 3pm, our room was not ready due to the absence of a maid and we were invited to wait in the lounge. (What's the point of indicating an arrival time if the hotel doesn't take it into account?)
Annoyed after an hour of waiting, we showed our annoyance at the reception. Our room was well prepared but the reception had forgotten to warn us....
We did not take possession of our room until about 4:15 p.m.
This lamentable check-in cut short our visit to the Christmas market and ruined our stay. Unworthy of the supposed standing of the hotel (and its rates).

Nous vous remercions d'avoir pris le temps de nous laisser vos impressions. Nous sommes absolument navrés de lire que votre séjour n'a pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes. Nous vous présentons tout d'abord nos excuses concernant cette arrivée compliquée. Nous avons à cœur de tout mettre en œuvre pour satisfaire pleinement nos clients mais sommes parfois soumis à des aléas indépendants de notre volonté. En effet, ce jour là, une absence imprévue d'une de nos femmes de chambres nous a fait prendre du retard sur la disponibilité des chambres prévues en arrivée. Comme vous l'imaginez, en période de marché de Noël, notre établissement est complet les weekends, soit 45 chambres. Nous avons tout mis en œuvre ce jour là en faisant revenir du personnel sur ses jours de repos afin de pallier à ce contretemps et pouvoir effectuer les chambres. Toute l'équipe s'est mobilisée et nous avons réussi malgré tout à donner accès aux chambres à 16h15 au lieu de 15h00. Je suis donc navrée que cette heure crucial ait gachée votre séjour. Je suis d'autant plus navrée que cette fausse note nous ait valu la notation d'1 étoile sur 5, malgré la mobilisation générale, et qu'aucun autre point positif n'ait été souligné lors de votre séjour.
Nous serons ravis de vous accueillir à nouveau, afin de vous faire changer d'avis sur la qualité de service, qui n'a pas été celle qu'elle est habituellement.

Remarkably located in the center
But above all this establishment has a very special interest for the human relationship elaborated by the owner of the house .. and her choice of people related to this objective .. we were welcomed in the afternoon by a young woman very attentive , efficient and above all very friendly: and after a few moments of exchange , we felt .. of family!
Some of the rooms have retained the historic furniture .. but rest assured the bedding and all the amenities are today.
Special mention to the delicious buffet breakfast , located in an old ballroom .. as the Michelin would say , is worth the trip . Quality local products partly organic and highly efficient staff
