Apartment with parking spot a few minutes from Zadar old city!

If you’re looking for a place to stay and you have a car this is a great choice! (There’s a parking spot with the apartment.) Very good value for the price. The room was nice, as was the host. She gave us some tips and a map and set us on our way to see the city. zadar is really hopping in the evening! It’s a 5 minute walk to a swimming area. (Calling it a beach is a stretch.)

Nice, but…

The location of the apartment is very good. It is very close to the beach and not so far away from the city center.
The apartment itself was in general nice
but there are a few things that we didn’t like.
The bathroom was very very small and there was a hand shower, very uncomfortable. When you come back from the beach of course you want to take a comfortable shower and of course wash your hair. As you can imagine there was not an easy task…
There was only an air conditioner between the kitchen and the bedroom, sometimes it was a little bit complicated to get a comfortable temperature inside the apartment.
The entrance of the apartments was really ugly. I guess it is difficult to improve it since there are different owners. Anyway I point it out because it’s the first impression that you get.
If it was possible to evaluate the place from 1 to 10 I would put probably a 7.
Everything together the location is good with a few improvements the property could be a lot better.

Spacious room in excellent location.

We stayed here for one night during a tour of Croatia by car. Apartments are in an old restored building with large new rooms with kitchen and ensuite bathroom. Everything is very spacious and airy, our room had windows overlooking the back yard. The apartment is a 15 minute walk to the old town, so very convenient, especially as it has car parking spaces. Kolovare Beach is just a few minutes away. No breakfast but there is a small supermarket just up the road. Host met us as arranged at the property and showed us in. A good choice when visiting Zadar.

Great holiday base

Stayed here for 5 nights. The room was large and airy and had a fridge which was really useful. 2 floors of steps with suitcases was not easy but a lot of the accommodations are small boutique style buildings so lifts would not be feasible. It was around a 10 morning minute walk to the old town and a 5 min walk to the beach. The beach is of course not like a beach you would find in Spain, it consisted of concrete and shingle, a bit strange to get used to however the locals clearly embrace it! Overall the apartment had all we needed and the landlady was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay. I do think that 5 nights was maybe too long in Zadar, 3 nights is probably enough as this is more of a city break location.

Wonderful stay

We stayed one night in an apartment on an upper floor with windows that opened to the back. It worked well for our family of 3--with one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. We cooked our meals, and the kitchen was well equipped. The apartment was quiet and in a great location. We highly recommend!
