One of the best value places I stayed in Brazil

Great place to stay...the check in staff were all friendly and helpful and most spoke english. The free breakfast spread was huge, an amazing array of cakes, deserts juices breads hot dishes. etc etc. Nice pool. Room was great, decent size and with a balcony, good wifi, and I think the only place with a bed long enough (am only 6' 3" but nearly everywhere I stayed I had to pull the beds out from the wall a few inches). Good location with 2 good value per kg food places close by - 1 just down the road for lunch and dinner, and another on the street behind the hotel, that only opens for lunch (1 or 2 macaws most mornings in a palm tree at the corner was a bonus..)

Horrible.

They charge a lot for the dog, but he can't stay in the room alone. The room is awful. Badly preserved. This hotel is not worth the cost. Antipathic employees. No extra pillow they have. Poor location. Because you're in a neighborhood with drugged people.

Terrible attendance!

Since we arrived ALL the staff were extremely rude, we asked to use the cafeteria so we could eat since we traveled 5 hours and when we arrived we needed to eat and they said it was not authorized so we asked to use the tables next to the pool and they said " If you get dirty there you have to clean it up", then another employee went there and said it was time for "everyone to go to their room", I went to ask for water and the employee gave it to me and I asked to make an appointment in the room and he said "the company has to pay on time", not to mention all the arrogance and lack of preparation in customer service as if serving us was a "favor"! I don't know if the treatment is different for people who are not there through companies, but it was horrible to go through that, (covered in a terrible smell), we were all polite to the employees, and paid for the service, so we expect the minimum of respect and service.

The room given was different from the one we booked (larger, but with 4 single beds instead of 1 double bed). The staff at reception were dull and seemed bored and uninterested. Breakfast was more than good. The surroundings are full of beggars and homeless drug users (can't say it's necessarily unsafe though). Main point is it's OK but way overpriced for what it is.

Excellent Breakfast

The hotel is nice. The staff are friendly and can speak English. There is also computer access in the main foyer. The rooms are good and the wifi is pretty strong.
The best thing about here is the breakfast. A buffet of eggs, sausages, fruit, cereal, cakes, coffee, juices, breads, teas, cheeses and different meats.
